Every plan is free while Sigilbase is in beta. The prices above apply when beta ends; we will give notice before anything is charged.
Retention is forever, on every plan.
Ingestion never stops for billing.
Every cryptographic feature, never gated.
These are product commitments, not plan features. A lapsed card moves an account to read-only; it never stops the record or shortens it.
What differs, and what never does.
| Developer | Team | Business | Enterprise | |

- Retention: forever
- Hash chain linking every event to the one before it
- Signed checkpoints sealing recent events
- Inclusion and consistency proofs
- Evidence bundle export, any range, any time
- Standalone offline verifier (open source)
Questions about pricing, answered plainly.
What counts as an event?
One accepted write to the events API. A batch request counts each event it contains. Retried writes with the same idempotency key are deduplicated and counted once. Sealing, verification, exports and reads are not events and are never metered.
What happens if I go over my allowance?
If you pass your monthly allowance nothing is dropped: the extra events are ingested and billed per 10,000, at £3 on Team and £2 on Business. On Developer there is no overage bill at all: past the allowance, ingestion continues and you are prompted to upgrade. For example, 300,000 events in a month on Team is 250,000 included plus 50,000 over, billed as 5 × £3 = £15. There is no hard cap and no ingestion pause at the allowance line.
What happens if I stop paying?
First, a 14-day grace period in which everything keeps working while we retry payment and email you. After that the account becomes restricted: ingestion, sealing and nightly verification continue untouched, but the dashboard goes read-only and you cannot create new streams or API keys. Your history is never deleted and never stops being recorded, because an audit log that stops when a card expires is not an audit log.
Can I export everything and leave?
Yes. Evidence bundles are yours, exportable at any time, including while restricted, and they verify with the open standalone verifier forever, without a Sigilbase account and without Sigilbase existing. Leaving loses you nothing you have already recorded.
How long do you keep my events?
Forever, on every plan. Retention is not a pricing lever here: sealed history is the product, so no plan expires it, ages it out, or charges to keep it.
Is there annual pricing?
Not yet. When an annual option exists it will be published here; there are no unlisted discounts to negotiate.
